Elaine was instrumental in my discernment when I left my corporate career and took a huge leap of faith to become a chaplain. She helped me feed the spark of this calling in its early days. She encouraged regular spiritual reflection which allowed me to understand more fully what God was calling me to do.
I now have the privilege of serving as a board certified chaplain and pastoral educator in a hospital. I feel grateful to be able to do this work and it continues to feel spirit led and to use the deepest parts of myself. Years later I look back on the time in my life when I worked with Elaine as an invaluable crossroad of trust and willingness to follow my inward spirit.
