For several months now I’ve come to Elaine with my anguish about where I should put my priorities and my energy. I felt a conflict of putting my energies into new work and not getting completion on the old work. I was stuck and inactive and now I’m clearer about how to proceed. I’ve maintained a discipline because Elaine has been there. The biggest shift is that I’m now focused on my own work rather than other people’s. I’m less distracted by diversions from my main purpose. Elaine’s deep listening and prompting helped me balance my commitment to others with my commitment to myself.
The process has been really very supportive. I have felt safe, heard, and encouraged to discover and speak my truth. I’m looking forward to continuing and sustaining this inquiry.
